Border Collie

The border collie is a dog breed, often cited as the most intelligent of all dogs.
Their intelligence has been observed as having an extra-sensory quality that goes well beyond basic instinct. This exceptional sensitivity calls for an equally sophisticated handler, though they do well in any environment that respects their higher faculties. They are typically extremely energetic, acrobatic and athletic; they frequently compete with great success in agility trials, and are used on farms to assist with the herding of livestock.
Border collies are also excellent companion animals.
